Capri is a must-try restaurant in Plainfield! The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. We started with a drink at the bar and had the pleasure of being served by Larry. He was incredibly efficient, managing a busy bar with ease. Larry mixed a perfect drink. He took the time to make every customer feel acknowledged and valued. His professionalism and skill truly enhanced our evening. I highly recommend seeking Larry when sitting at the bar. We'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.
Second time there. I loved it the first time. We both had shrimp and pasta. Plenty of huge shrimp. Pasta was good. Neither of us loved the marinara. Salt on the table would have helped.
Great service. I have multiple food allergies. The server listened, wrote them down, confirmed my dish would be safe and did it all with a smile. The food was excellent too, I had a chicken dish with potatoes and a white wine sauce. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

A very classy place right in the middle of downtown Plainfield. Great seating outside in the summer where you can chill, relax, eat and do some people watching. We had: Pollo San Marco Eggplant parmigiana Both very tasty. Recommended. Another good thing: their outside seating is dog friendly. It’s worth checking out this place.
This place is the perfect blend of old family restaurant and ambiance. The lasagna was awesome and the affogato perfection. We will definitely visit again when back in Illinois. A big thank you to our server Tony ~ he was very accommodating and goes above & beyond to make your experience memorable
